Lemon Pledge. Use it on your outboard too. You'll never get water stains/spots.

But over time, you get a yellow tint to everything. Been there and done that.

Cheapest, thing to use to clear the stain is Muriatic Acid. Under $5 a gallon and will last a life time. It is what boat yards use all the time.

If the boat is on a trailer, make sure it is wet down real good. Use rubber gloves and safetyglasses. Use a clean rag, wet it out with the acid and just wipe it on. Let sit for a few minutes. Rinse off with a lot of water. Then wash boat. The acid will remove all stains and wax. Use 3M wax. 2-3 coats and one is done for the year.
