I stumbled in there the other day on a whim and I was the only person in the joint. I had ample time to talk up the bartender and the general manager. I, for one, found the bartender to be pretty knowledgeable and she was able to accurately judge how I'd feel about a couple of different beers based upon the few beers I gave her as preferences. Maybe I just got lucky.

And my understanding from her and the GM, it's more meant to compete with The Cove than The Bulldog. Apparently someone got forced out at The Cove and that's where PH came from? Something like that. They spoke vaguely, and while I could have pressed for more details as I am an acquaintance with the GM, I felt like that was probably rude and let it go.
