Like I said, the staff definitely needs more training. But there isn't a plethora of beer nerds working industry jobs in BR and no training the world will force someone who isn't interested in craft beer to become interested. They should learn as much as they can, but it was a process for me to even learn the small amount i know.. and i actually enjoy/drink it. Those waitresses probably don't even drink beer so all they can tell you is what they're told/trained. I can see where it would be hard for something you don't drink to stick without you being around it for a long time.
They maybe should have had a "training course".. Maybe even a cheat book lol.
If they at least know a little, they'll know more than the average customer.
