I thought Nola did an excellent job of keeping the ball down all night.

Nola is a first round and easily a possible top 10 pick in his own right.

Keep in mind he knows how to pitch and is only a sophomore. Undefeated for the season.. Just remarkable going against all these aces in the SEC and whatnot. All these complete games he's thrown of recent.

This is what Florida's coach said of him,
quote:

“I don’t think he threw a single pitch above the mast,” O’Sullivan said. “He’s got a feel for throwing the ball in the low part of the (strike) zone. What he’s showing us is a professional strike. It’s at the knees, and he threw a quality session.”

Everyone saying Gray faced more quality hitters, while this is true, at the next level, every player will be that caliber hitter. He dealt some stuff tonight, and got in a bind, it happens.

Overall throughout the season though, Nola has seen the better hitters top to bottom. Gray was great, but Nola was on his game.

I don't know if you can say one was better, but Nola got the W, all that matters here.

Don't know why LSU needs to measure dicks after beating them.
