Seems it may have much to do with squad depth in that Sterling/Sturridge have been excellent when I've seen Liverpool in using their pace and smart runs in very open spaces (usually created by pressing turnovers) but not as comfortable in intricate build up passing in crowded areas.

This is pretty much Pool in a nutshell. When there is space (which there usually is thanks to their off the ball movement) they exploit it really well, and look deadly doing so. They're not as good breaking down compact teams putting 10 behind the ball. Suarez can sometimes pull a rabbit out of a hat in those tight space situations, but it seems like so much of Liverpool's offense comes on the break when teams are scrambling and disorganized. Or at least that's just my impression from the Pool games I've seen this season.

A lot of things to discuss but my thoughts right now are on Oscar. What do we make of the fact he couldn't get on the field even when we were chasing the game?

Has Jose given up on him?

Will we see a big #10 signing this summer?

Well not much to say other than we got beaten by a better team today. Hats off to AM.

I swear, if City drops points in any of their remaining games I will choke a B.

Dude, if you weren't already ready to do that after yesterday I'd say you're gonna be alright. As awesome as that Pool collapse was we have choked it away massively the last month and a half.

You mean drawing Norwich 0-0 and losing to Sunderland is bad?

This is written by a Chelsea "beat" writer that knows his stuff. He is now the second close Chelsea source that has strongly hinted that Lukaku will be sold in the summer.

So we plan to sell another young dynamic goal scorer and build around an attacking player who was so poor for 7 months he couldn't even get on the field in our most important matches and at times when we had to score goals.

I, for one, am thrilled about the future.

They might need the cash for Varane.

Supposedly they´ve made an offer, and Varane has requested a tête-à-tête with Carlo Ancelotti concerning the matter.

Many in Madrid think he´s not right after that knee injury, and he knows it (hence his wanting this meeting).

ETA Chelsea with Maureen and Diego Costa would be high entertainment. Don´t sweat the Lukaku loss. Hell, even I´d tune in for their matches.

How Chelsea of all teams don't see this is beyond me.

I just went and read basically the same article on ESPN and their take was that Jose is saying that it is likely we will bring back Lukaku just like we will bring back Courtois? If you read what he says that actually makes sense.

The stadium announcer at the Bridge is a host of the Football Show on Sirius and he is always hinting that Mou does not favor Lukaku and that he will never be a 1st teamer.

I mean I have no idea what will happen but if you read the comments it sounds like he is ready to call him back, comparing his loan and situation to Courtois.
