I don't think Williams is a take IF LSU gets the others. Sorry, a great WR for 1 year is NOT worth losing an almost great WR for 3 years. Plus, you start all over again on that position he used up for that 1 year only. Nope, I can't buy that at all. And also, once again, ANY WR scholarship could be taking away a DB scholarship or a RB scholarship, etc. I like balanced classes by position and 5 or 6 WRers is not balanced by any stretch IMO.
LSU does not need 6 WRs, and of course I'm assuming Chark is moving to DB as you mentioned. I for one would not be unhappy with just 4. Leslie got in, Peterson is there, etc. IF those guys had never qualified that I would be more concerned but add in Dural, etc, LSU is not going to be short on WRers with even just 4 in this class. I like Kadron Boone but Wright has never panned out despite all the hype, so LSU is losing obviously some talent at WR but not a huge amount of quality depth.
I do agree with you about Upchurch moving to TE or might even be in the backfield and come out on plays from there. Regardless of where he plays, he is going to go downfield a ways and even though have mentioned him as a RB some, I think he stays as a receiver (WR or TE).
