People forget that these are extremely young strikers. People expected far too much from Jozy at too young of an age, and then transferred those unreasonable expectations onto Agudelo.

What was remarkable was that Altidore was playing in the BPL as a target striker as a 19 year old. He learned the game so much there that it was only a matter of time before he was able to put it together. Yet his goal-scoring is still precocious for someone of his size and proclivities.

True dat bro! Same with Adu. I think Adu has to get with it mentally and put in the work to be excellent. But, he is still relatively young. I'm not saying Adu is going to be a superstar. However, he can come in and be a contributor. If he gets his mental game down pat.
