I doubt MS won't make it restrictive enough to where people can abuse it and share with their friends instead of their family. And, only one of the family members will be able to play at any time.

That is bullshite though, especially for people like my younger brother who doesn't have Internet connection for his Xbox at my parents' house.
And it said "family", not friends.

Eh this is so remarkably dumb. I realize we are a more connected society now with many more people having access to internet, but yet it's still a convenience in times when money is getting tighter.
When I was a kid single mom had a factory job and probably made 350-400 a week in Missouri. Let's say she was able to buy me one of these nice new consoles for christmas or a birthday (somehow). The additional charge of cable internet would have been out of the question though.
This has been several years, but I imagine quite a few people would still be in this type of situation.
It's just a complete joke and I hope Microsoft tanks for this decision.
