I have yet to wear it out. I have listened to it over 30 times which some of you will find insane I am sure.

Your rankings are of their albums are odd to me.
I cannot decide out of SFTD, Lullabies or Like Clockwork for the top Like Clock work easily goes up there for me.

Rated R has a special place for me, it was the first album of theirs I heard but its not as strong as the other three overall.

Era Vulgaris and Self titled bringing up the rear.

On topic: Lyrically this albums is amazing. Cannot explain it, it just does it for me.

It's hard to explain but it just makes you feel a little creepy. I like it. No other album that I've ever listened to has made me feel this way.

yeah - I'm loving it. Wish there were a few more songs but that's just me being greedy. All the songs kick arse but off the bat I keep going back to "Keep your eyes peeled". Plan on jamming this shite all Summer and my QoTSA album rankings FWIW are

-Lullabies...
-Queens of the Stone Age
-Songs for the Deaf
-Era Vulgaris
-Rated R

I might put Crooked Vultures on top of all those even though its not technically qotsa and the critics kind of shite on it

I saw them w/ Dax Riggs in 2007 on the Era Vulgaris tour and they just killed - probably the best show I've ever seen but then I'm a huge fan

I'm hoping they release more dates but if not may spring to see them at Red Rocks in August. Would appreciate hearing if anyone has any plans seeing them on this tour. Think they're doing 2 nights at ACL but I'd rather see them outside of a festival if I can help it

tldr; my $0.2; proceed

Spin wrote a really good review - talks about that creepiness and vibe of the record

I'm a big fan of their early days when they had Mark Lanegan and Nick Oliveri trade off with Josh on lead vocals. I thought it added a really cool dynamic to the band. This is why I have SFTD and Rated R as my top. Millionaire is just such a great opener to an album...same with Feel Good Hit of the Summer.

The self-titled album is just so damn raw and it sometimes sneaks its way into one of my favorites. All in all, every one of their albums has been great so there isn't a huge gap in how much more I like one over the other. It really is hard to choose.
