There's a " Gio looks like a girl/Robbie Rogers" joke in here somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look for it.
I don't know how much it makes sense from a footballing perspective, but pairing the most recognizable American with the most recognizable Mexican (not named Chicharito) is damned good business.
