Sony now looking at Amazon or NetFlix.

USA has decided to not to pick up cult comedy favorite Happy Endings, sources confirm to E! News.

Endings, which was canceled earlier this month by ABC, was considered a very real contender to join USA network's slate. Sony TV studios has been in active talks with USA for weeks, however, we are told the basic-cable network opted to pass on the series, as first reported by Deadline, for budgetary reasons. Sony TV is now looking for a non-network home such as Amazon or Netflix—which of course most recently resurrected Arrested Development after seven years off the air.

How many episodes is it from the 100 mark for syndication? I wonder if FX could grab it and pair it with their HIMYM rerun package?

ABC's website says' they're up to 57 episodes after 3 seasons (season 1 was only 13 eps). LINK

That means 2 more full seasons would get them to 100.

I read that TBS is still a possibility. They would pair it with Cougar Town.

It'd be a nice little combination of two shows that followed Modern Family at some point but couldn't get any of it's rub.

I thought they both did well in that timeslot, but couldn't survive being moved from there.

If this happened, I would buy the first three seasons of HE and catch up on it. I fricking love some Cougar Town, and it's as good (or better) on TBS than it was on ABC. So if they paired HE with CT I'd be more inclined to watch it.

Cmooooon Netflix. Really wish the show wouldn't have started off on ABC. That place has horrible, horrible how's save only Modern Family.
