Did USL really bring more fans to the softball game than to the baseball game?

Really?! I always thought they were so jacked up about their baseball team...especially when it came to competing with LSU?
Besides one patch of fans on the first base line all I saw was a scattering of them throughout the stadium. I think their softball fans outnumbered the LSU softball fans at their regional.
I thought LSU was their big rivalry game especially considering it was an NCAA regional.
I was rather disappointed.

They don't actually have fans. There are just a lot of people with resentment towards LSU who live in Lafayette.

There were not many of them when they played Sam Houston and Jackson either. Most of those tickets were given away.

I know we "don't care" about ULL but we really should make an anchored thread so we don't have 30 different bash ULL threads going around.

you guys' logic is truly undeniable. no one could ever mistake lsu fans for any other fans.

Is anyone forcing you to open the ULL threads?
Go to the ULL board and look at the mindless shite they post crapping on LSU, LSU fans, Baton Rouge and anything else in this state outside the city limits of Lafayette.
They are in this state, they are an hour away, they were in our regional, and we played them.
You have to be mentally short a few cards in your deck not to understand they are going to get some play on this board at this time.

Hey dick hole, its a legit question. Fans on ragin pagin boast about how "loyal" and "awsome" the ULL baseball fans are but no one showed up to the regional. Was it b/c y'all knew the ULL baseball team would lose to LSU? Was it b/c ULL fans couldn't use LSU taxpayer money for gas to make it to the regional like ole coach shrimp boats and his decks hands did?

I concur.
I thought there would be a couple thousand Cajun fans in the Box this weekend. I walked in to the ULL/Sam Houston game and was surprised at how few Cajun fans were actually there. For all the Super Bowl excitement they had for the game in February, I think their "fans" were deflated that night and knew they had no chance in Baton Rouge so they cowered by their laptops back home in Lafayette instead of supporting their team.

ok, if it's an honest question, I'll try my best to answer:
If we're being honest here, I think most fans knew we couldn't beat lsu twice. You would have had to be in the losers bracket for us to have a chance of getting out of this regional. Saying that, I think lsu is the better candidate for getting to Omaha. UL winning the regional would have been an anomaly and would have robbed you guys of getting another championship.

I can't tell you why others didn't go, but I know that for me, personally, I had a lot of things going on. I agree, we should have traveled better. But realize that us diehard baseball fans are few in number, The Tigue holds about 3600 and we, the diehards, are about half of that? Not making excuses, just trying to put it in perspective.

Because its a fact, Oh LA LA fans dont respond well to facts. My tax dollars go to your schools athletic dept. The athletic dept pays for travel cost. My tax dollars paid for your welfare team to come play at Alex Box. As long as i'm footing the bill i'll talk as much shite and throw out as many facts i please.

If Tulane had come, they would get a greater play too because the schools and fans rub shoulders all the time.
ULL gets more because you came here a decade ago, knocked us into the losers bracket, and both your team and fans acted like little shits with your "we bad" BS.
There is bad blood which always increases the play. In a few days, LSU fans will move on to bitch about Alabama, Florida, and the SEC scheduling and ULL fans will continue to bitch about LSU, LSU fans, Baton Rouge, and anything else other than Lafayette.
