I will be a new home owner friday. (yay!) The house has a centipede yard (in lafayette). Is it too late to weed and feed the yard? if not, what should I use and if so, what kind of fertilizer should I be looking at?

Best normal stuff, someone will tell you it's garbage and recommend you go to Nebraska for some moose fertilizer or something

cool. I'm looking forward to having my own yard for once.. I love grass. if it was up to me, I would have a whole yard of tiff bermuda, but I have too many trees in the back yard, so I'll stick to the centipede

Turf Builder S, 3 or 4 times a year right before a good rain.

Nitro Phos 19-4-10

Google randy Lemmon yard fertilization schedule. Follow that and it is all you need. Scott's is a waste of money compared to nitro Phos.
