quote:
"Any time something like that happens to your arm or you start losing feeling and stuff . . . you think about [retirement] for sure," Beckett, who is on the disabled list after four to five weeks of numbness in the fingers on his right hand, told the Times. "I don't really want to think like that right now. I want to think about figuring out a way to deal with this."

Josh Beckett has been a jerk and clubhouse cancer since he broke in with the Marlins.

2007 world series, hello?

He was pretty dominant. Just never year after year. His career is very bizarre. No way to project that.

Go ahead and quit. You haven't mattered in 6 years. Don't want to lose feeling in your trigger finger.
Posted on 5/31/13 at 11:30 pm to TigerStripes06
Exactly. Just quit. Not many care.

I know. he was just so inconsistent. such a shame. he could have been something great. he had all the talent in the world.

Dude has been a beast in odd numbered years. Until this year.
