Really wasn't impressed in any way with Skyfall. It wasn't Quantum level of suck but the plot was almost as bad once Bond set the trap with no weapons.

Damn trailer was better than the movie.

I don't understand why they can't come up with a decent plot for most Bond flicks.

Hasn't Tarantino said he wants to direct one with Brosnan as Bond?

You're pretty much alone on that one.

He's not alone on TD.

This is the only site on the net with Skyfall-bashers, I swear.

We had a giant thread on the possibility of Nolan directing. I, for one, am glad he isn't because I want him to give it a fresh look. He'll probably direct one soon. I have a feeling he'll want to have some hand in the writing of it, too, and he may recast Bond.

In any case, Sam Mendes is awesome and Skyfall was terrific. I'm glad they're giving him another go.

Agreed. I just really want to see Nolan's take on Bond

Not really. Most people found the movie to be weak.

Oh, let's take her off to the abandoned mansion with no weapons and lure an army of bad guys there. Great idea James.

Absolute shite. Sorry, but it was.

Don't get me started on Bond being shot, falling 300 feet unconscious in the river, going over a waterfall, but fine and dandy.

On this argument, I would prefer to be on the opposite side of Ipodking.

There were plenty of disappointed reviews both nationwide and on this site.

The Fanwank is strong with Mendes.

I haven't read any critics reviews so they may have bashed it. i'm just referring to normal movie goers.

Mendes did a solid job with Skyfall. I don't understand why so many people are critical of that movie.

You just have to keep in mind that it's still a James Bond movie. They're all farfetched and have completely ridiculous moments in the action sequences and the plot.

Like a good number of the previous entries, Skyfall is very enjoyable as long you don't take it too seriously.

I'm starting to think the Nolan Batman series ruined reboot expectations for everything else.
