Just making sure it's not another one of those "Julio Jones broke both legs in a car crash" stories.

Damn. Loved the Hawks as a kid in the Mookie days. Of course, there wasn't much point to the Eastern conference playoffs with Jordan playing.

Former NBA guard Mookie Blaylock is on life support after driving into oncoming traffic in Atlanta, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Blaylock was one of two people critically injured Friday afternoon in a head-on collision in Clayton County, according to police reports. Blaylock, 46, was reportedly driving northbound on Tara Boulevard in Clayton County when, for unknown reasons, he crossed over the median into the southbound lane where he struck another vehicle head-on. Jonesboro police chief Franklin Allen said Blaylock and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Atlanta Medical Center and were in critical condition. Blaylock is on life support and is unresponsive, Allen said. Blaylock played 13 seasons in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks, New Jersey Nets and Golden State Warriors.

No concern for the people he hit? Would you give a rat's arse if he had no connections to UK?

Several years ago I ran into Mookie at Boomer's, which is a gentleman's club in Cobb County.
