Wow. I thought for sure Brown would be given every chance to start. But with this new attitude from Payton seems like all bets are off. He must really like him. Will be great to have some athleticism at the Tackle spot.

I think it's too early to consider anyone the favorite the start at that spot, as they'll all probably get an equal opportunity. Armstead has all of the physical tools to start day 1, he just needs to mentally adjust from d2 ball, to the NFL.

I don't see where 9lbs makes a difference. If anything I think it slows him down, he's lighter on his feet without so he can get into his backpedal faster for protection. he doesn't need extra weight he is already a 300 pounder.
