You have to keep in mind it's the SEC Network, not the LSU Network. It may appear to be a "pro Bama gig" but that's where it ends: appearance. ESPN makes money from subscribers...they basically negotiate a deal with cable companies (such as cox) and the cable company agrees to pay x amount to ESPN per customer per month...this is where the BIG money comes from. So, knowing that, it's NOT in anyone's best interest to be "pro" any school if ESPN wants to add subscribers. For example, if the SEC Network is indeed "pro bama" the cable companies in Dallas probably won't be very excited about adding the network. Every single football game from all schools will be on ESPN or the ESPN family of networks.
