Good thing we aren't throwing a fly ball pitcher against a fly ball offense.

And I don't really care about BJ sitting right now.

And I understand not wanting to mess up a hitter's timing by facing Dickey.

But Jhey shouldn't sit much. And never against a righty. This is what twice in four days?

@Braves: Braves have designated 3B Juan Francisco for assignment. Roster spot filled by LHP Alex Wood, who had his contract purchased today from MS.

And then DFA him a week later after he strikes out 13 times in 17 PAs.

Yep. I know the Braves hated to do it. Gattis and Schafer have just been hitting too well

A blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then. Making Heyward a blind squirrel against righties and the Hellen Keller of squirrels against lefties. BJ is just Hellen Keller.

Juan Francisco to the Toronto Blue Jays would be a match made in heaven.

How has Laird been doing lately? Why roadrunner and not lard?

Getting rid of Laird would be stupid. Like I said the other day...no Laird = Gattis getting 4 ABs a week.

He's still only 25. I could see at least 5 teams claim him.

He's got 19 homers and 77 RBI in only 500 plate appearances for his career. He's got value.

DFAing Juan was the right move. Cannot afford to lose Schafer, no way they were sending Gattis down. Losing Laird would prevent Fredi from pinch hitting Gattis and Reed>Juan.

Pena hitting righties so well seals the deal.

Hopefully he clears waivers, but about 0.1% chance of that happening.
