So much overreaction in this thread. We didn't even play that poorly, Belgium is just really fricking good and their strikers were especially clinical. There probably isn't a player in concacaf who scores their first or fourth goals, maybe someone on Mexico. And goal number 2 was just a pure mental defensive error. Also scored 3 without our first team keeper in.

In addition, we looked pretty dangerous with Jozy and even without him we had some decent possession in their third,
this wasn't like some games where we just can't posses at all. Finally, beligum played much closer to their A team than we did, pretty much leaving out just hazard. We left out Bradley, Johnson, and chandler not to mention cherundolo, besler, and Danny Williams. It's very possible our optimal back line will only included one player who started there tonight

Who knows if Cherundolo will even play this summer.

We played pretty bad. Mental errors cost us 2 goals at least.

Our 2nd string keep is almost as good as Tim Howard if not at par.

Danny Williams, is currently a JOKE.

Besler is inexperienced, Chandler is inexperienced. Fabian Johnson doesn't even play as a defender and it's not his natural position.

This team has a lot to figure out in a short time. Unfortunately, we don't have time.

Belgium isn't so good that they convince the back line to play patty cake while their forwards are in the box. We were atrocious on defense and miserably wasteful in the midfield. As the game progressed we held a bit better, but a gold medal in the special olympics is still the special olympics. There is no excuse for the miserable first touch and blind hopeful passing I saw.
