re: Flat Fee MLS referral - BTR real estate

I used a website www.mlsmyhome.com which was the cheapest but they bait-and-switched and put in the contract that I have to pay 0.5% of the final sale price to the listing Realtor (Darryl Brasseur of Brasseur Realty in Prarieville). I quickly put a stop to that and cancelled that deal.
Do NOT use Hager Realty. They are complete jerks and harass FSBOs constantly with phonecalls about full listings. I ended up having to go to the FCC with a complaint about them calling so much. They and the McCarthy Group are the worst.
I don't have experience with Adam Campo or Kim Fern but I see them a lot, so they must be doing something right.
I breifly used Paige Knobles as well, though she's a newbie to the real estate world. In my experience, Realtors with brand-name brokerages prefer to show properties from other brand-name brokers because they have less "drama" than FSBO and flat fees.
Good luck!
Edit: Beware and read the contract carefully for hidden percentages and modification to MLS costs.

This times 100%, I got a call last week from someone that paid a flat fee of $149 but the listing and marketing agreement they actually signed called for the local listing broker to make 1/2 percent commission on the sales price.
All I can say is read the contract carefully.

I have no experience with Adam Campo, Hager or any other flat fee brokerage. However, I did use Paige Knobles Properties to list my property. I purchase property to flip. I was losing money on my flip and could not afford the usual 6% so I contacted Paige Knobles Properties from an email I recieved.
I was impressed at how knowledgeable and friendly she was. I also thought she was a newbie because of her age, but she has been in real estate for 8 years. I initially wanted to sign up for her $149 package, but opted for the full service. I did not have time to deal with the property any more. She did open houses, flyers, lockbox, scheduling, and is a real bulldog at negotiating for her clients all for 1%. It was too good of a steal to pass up.
Long story short she got the price I wanted and has listed all of my flips ever since. I also recommended her to two friends, they too recommended her to some friends. One friend did the $149 package. He said she sold the house in a week, and there were no hidden fees. She also gave him free advice to get the price he wanted.
