A. He does not stink at his main sport. He was one of the best QBs LSU has ever had and was drafted #1 in the NFL. He got screwed with a shitty franchise that exacerbated his lazy tendencies. He wasn't even THAT bad in the pros in his limited action.

Oh, JR is not to blame. Why didn't any team give him a tryout since? Mainly because he stunk.

B. I don't think he is major league material at all. Never said that. You made it up. There are thousands of people that can throw a baseball in the 90s that aren't major league material. Jamarcus has arguably the strongest arm the sport of football has ever seen. Sorry for being curious about how hard he could throw if a pitching coach taught him how to wind up and properly pitch.

Oh, but you implied. Very much so. Dude couldn't hit a strike zone at all. ML batters couldn't tee off on him because they would be too busy ducking and dodging his pitches. But hey! He can throw it 95.

FYI, you are coming across as a total dick in this thread.
I would love to know how hard he could throw a baseball....I couldn't give a frick if it were a strike or not.

Guys ask questions on this board all the time that others aren't interested in. Get a grip and learn to just stay out of the thread. If you continue to post in it, it gives the thread, that you disapprove of, even more exposure.

lolwut? This is my post. Just curious how hard he could throw a baseball. That is the most definite and used method of figuring out someones arm strength.

I wonder how hard JRock could throw a baseball with a month of two of training from a good pitching coach?

He can throw a damn football the length of the field, I'd imagine he can easily hit mid-90's with a fastball. His motion would be so long though that I think batters would tee off on it.

I just said "nanny nanny boo boo" and you said I take myself too seriously. I might need to run through the streets naked for you to think I don't take myself too seriously.

If he stunk, he never would have started a game. Plenty of worse qbs still in the league.

I dont understand why we bash our players. He did nothing wrong at LSU and was a great player. Im thinking someone will give him a chance. After that it will be up to him to keep his weight down.

give me the money the raiders gave him, let the owner tell me and the coach how great I am, I hold out on my contract until i am so far behind, and lastly while I'm in my contract negotiations I continue to eat but not work out thinking my talent alone is enough until I realize how bad the talent is on the raiders and just how much better NFL defenses are than most of the ones he faced in the NCAA's
