Anyone going to fish the wind and crap tide this weekend?

I didn't go out this weekend and have been looking forward to June 1 for a couple weeks and now this forecast...sucks.

If it's worse than this past weekend and you go, I hope you have a nice size boat and a good anchor. Lot's of people fighting dragging anchors this weekend, including us.

Thanks to the wind we didn't fish much this past weekend. We spent a lot more time drinking, kneeboarding, and skiing

I will kill all the snapper the law allows if it stays under 6' seas, on principle if nothing else. Plus I have a wreck I need to hit before the ska tourney the next weekend.

Boys, there's fun fishing and then there's tournament fishing. I wear two entirely different hats. It's not the money, it's being able to shite talk for a year, that's the true prize. These are the seas you guys will wish you had a Cat. But Im sure a cape horn or gravios can hang with me as long as they keep their bow between my engines. Anybody can roll in 2-3s, this takes it to the next level.

So what kind of cat do you have that you like fishing in 6'ers? Just curious -- I'd like to trade my 31 Cape Horn in for it.

Didn't say I liked it, just said I was going to fish it. 31 Americat, fished in 8-10s a couple times in 29 twin Vee. Gets a little dicey running when you straddle the crest.

It's been snapper season for me.
Although it will be nice not having to worry about the Feds. Hopefully the wind will lay down this weekend. frick 4-6s.
