I don't know.

This is a completely different era than the 90s with the bats being different.

What he didn't do with the bat he did with the glove that catch saved 2 runs or more.

I like our pitching as much as our hitting. If we go in the 9th with a lead it's game over.

Well, we did win the SEC tourney and beat the #1 team in the country short 2 starters.

It's certainly the most well-rounded team. Combination of hitting/pitching and defense is the best I've seen.

It's hard to talk in absolutes but it's definitely hard to argue against it being one of the deepest teams we've had.

Especially when you consider the fact we've lost some very key guys for the year in Broussard and Reynolds yet our pitching staff has won us so many games recently even 4-5 days into a tournament.

LSU's season record is a testament to the depth on the team. They don't lose midweek games because their pitching staff is so deep that they just don't give up many runs. It would be easy to drop a couple of those (see Vandy) because you give up 5 or 6 runs and you hitters just sleep walk through a game. Also, the depth of good position players allows for Mainieri to rest some of the guys during the year and there isn't much of a drop off.
