These are some really poorly posed questions with some really useless conversation.

Why even focus on the draft. Look at players that come here that are on their last let and then pick up another contract on another team. That's validation of them developing bad players into better ones. The jury is out on being able to groom top talent. Would Davis developing even count for him? Some, maybe.

Monty and company have some talent at developing without question. How much it actually helps us is another matter entirely, and that may not have that much to do with Monty.

How can you place blame on Monty regarding miller? He went to the D league for a reason and while he is pretty decent he did look lost when he was out there.

Austin rivers improved? You gotta be shitting me? Dude had statistically one of the worst seasons ever. I understand he hasn't drafted many players, but in the past, the team seems to always dump young players who end up being solid players.

He shot something like 49.3% from the field and 42.3% from 3 his final 16 games.

Good job quoting an article written partway through the season while leaving out that other players that bad don't rack up the minutes he did because of Gordon.

He got better, and you tell by watching the games and looking at the numbers as the season went on.

If you didn't read, you watched. No damn way you knew that off the cuff, so continue what you're doing. Your refreshing insight is wonderful.

Players Monty actually helped develop

quote:

Smith
. Agree. Nice rotation player who he honed his jumper.
quote:

Aminu
maybe improved a lil with playing time but no way is he a starter. Put him in games maybe he can provide a lil energy boost. My 11 yr old can out shoot him, right now.
quote:

Davis
anybody with half way coaching skills could develop him. He's that good.
quote:

Roberts
. Looked good in the opportunities he got. I wondered why he didn't play more. Coaches decision.
quote:

Vasquez
saw he minutes increase by a lot this yr. he did play well, but all those minutes also exposed his weaknesses.

You're welcome JayJay. That name sounds fitting for a go go dancer at the OZ.

Is this accurate? I thought JR was traded to Denver in 2006 and Monty's first year was 2010? Help me out.

No shite man.. I know JR didn't play for Monty. I'm just saying as an organization we've let some pretty solid young players walk away for nothing.

Which organization?

And cap space is nothing? Tell that to Ryan Anderson and Robin Lopez, because cap space played a key role in getting those players.
