Not to overthink the plot or anything, but I still don't understand why he was arrested. He was jumped by 3 guys in an alley. His wife was a witness. He was getting beaten down and killed a guy. He wasn't guilty of anything. I don't think the DA would have ever prosecuted him.. especially in Alabama..

It was a poorly made movie that I cant help but watch every time I see it on.
The entertainment factor is through the roof. Everytime I watch it I feel like I pick up on more retarded shite that's just amazing.

I didn't like it very much.
I felt it was pretty disappointing compared to The Rock which had come out the year before.
It has its moments though but overall I thought it was pretty forgettable.

That's cool and I respect that. But, for me, when I think of movies I enjoy and would watch again Con Air doesn't strike any chords. Hence, forgettable.

I lament I have not purchased this on DVD.
Love this movie. Even stranger, my wife likes it too (hell, she actually went with me to see it in the theater).
