When Tigers are referred to as a Sports team who are the Top 3 ??

Obviously to LSU fans and to Auburn fans it's them but who do you think others around the U.S think of the most when Tigers as a teams of any sport are mentioned?
*Excluding Tiger Woods Lol
Just to name some if I miss some plz feel free to add.
LSU,Auburn,Mizzo,Clemson,
Memphis, Detroit baseball.
I would say LSU but just wanted my fellow homers to give me their thoughts..

Detroit Tigers maybe in the Michigan area. But college football is hardly a niche sport with the Wolverines and State up there.

Agreed. And, when it comes to the original 16 MLB teams, only 3 have the same names and locations since 1901!! The Phillies, the Pirates, and the Tigers!
