Father in law is getting rid of some bows. I have to admit I'm pretty ignorant about them. I shoot well but haven't owned my own or studied them like I have guns.

Here's a pic of the 3. If like to make an offer on one but idk which to get or how much to offer him. I'd like a reasonable price and not low ball him.

Which would you get and how much would you offer your FIL?

Yes, I threw the foot in there on purpose.

Post some make/model info on them. I'm pretty sure that's a Mathews on the right.

the one in the middle looks like a PSE Bruin

about $150 for that one

ETA: just realized the one on the left is a bowfishing setup

Left is diamond bow tech razor edge
The middle is a Pearson anro lite
Right is in fact a Mathews solo cam

Unless he got rid of it before, one might be a kids model that his son used. Not sure really.

Offer $400 for all of them, then sell the two on the left.

there is still some things you'll need to do at a bow shop

New String
Proper draw length

Yup. It seems to be the lesser of the 3 so I'm assuming that's why it was set up like that.

If I hated my FIL

I wouldn't low ball him like that and ask $130 each for 3 virtually new bows. That seems like a shite deal for him even without knowing much about em. I may be mistaken but he isn't usually one who buys cheap shite.

Tell him you want the one on the right for $100 but you'll tell him a terrific sex story as part of the deal.

I don't think you'd get more than $300 total for the two on the left if you sold it.

I really don't know. What about the right? I'd rather pay more for the better one.

not knocking them, just saying that in general the price of a bow depreciates dramatically

they're still good bows though
