I know he may be raw or we haven't seen a whole lot of him, but I think he will be an allstar in 2 or 3 years imo.

His favorite team is the pelicans too!
3:40 mark

Here is a video of him against The best highschoolers in america. yes i know it's just highschool players but he looks soo much better than all of them.

LINK

If we get a PG I hope it's this guy.

He is definitely on my radar. I think when he gets into individual workouts, he's a guy that could shock and move into the top 6.

People are raving about him.

Yeah he reminds me of Lilliard , in the sense that he started as a nobody and has quickly jumped up people boards the moment they finally get to see him in person.

They mock drafts that I have seen have him late teens early 20's

Very much so.

The thing is, these GMs are well aware of him, but the websites which is what all of us amateurs base our opinions on aren't that aware of him.

And once he gets in person in front of coaches and such...if he is as impressive as they say, he will go top 8 or so.

I really think we need to keep an eye out for him.

He's lightning quick.

That must be pre-combine.

NBADraft has him at 12.

I've seen one ( don't know which one it was) that had him at 19 and WalterFootball has him at 22. then again it's Walter Football making the mock draft.

I think NBADraft had Lillard at 10 around this time.

He made 53% off catch and shoot last year (which is fricking ridiculous) and was about 40% from 3.

And regarding Defense, from Draft Express:

quote:

On the other end of the floor, Schroeder did an excellent job as well. He measured a solid 6-2 in shoes with an excellent 6-7 ¼ wingspan, and looked intent on using it every moment he was on the court. Schroeder's lateral quickness might be the best of any point guard in this year's draft class, as he's able to put suffocating pressure on the ball in the full-court, bodying up his matchup and sliding with him every inch he takes up the court. He will need to continue to fill out his slender 168-pound frame, but there is a lot to like here despite his average size.

NBADraft:

A solid defender, showing a good understanding of spacing and staying in defensive position with his hands active without reaching. Displays a lot of potential to be an on ball pest with his quick feet and huge wingspan ...

He is very slight of frame, but has a good wingspan and decent height.

I've quietly been looking into him a lot, obviously.

he's 6'2 170, but he is only 19.

And with such a weak draft class I don't see why not take a chance on him. He has more of a ceiling than Len and even Burke

This is lazy "usual suspects" rumor mongering, but the general consensus seems to be that his "tooth ache" that had him pull out of combine drills was based on a promise from Dallas or OKC (usual suspects), which would put him in the early teens. Definitely Lillard like potential to rise.

He's 6'2" but 165 pounds. Good wingspan, good sized hands.

He will need to put on muscle and weight for sure.

I heard the same thing. It was inferred by basically everyone that he has a promise in the late lottery, but would workout for individual teams instead to see if his stock rises.

We thought that the Waiters rumor-mongering last year was from Toronto, around #8 Then Cleveland shocked us by taking him at #4.

There's no telling who made the promise, but it was certainly high enough that he's happy.
