Shitty owners are going to shitty own.

The fact that you can only come up with 4-5 such teams, versus 10+ easily in MLB or NBA, is sort of the point.

There's only so much you can do to overcome truly shitty ownership. The NFL pretty much does it all better than the other pro sports in that regard.

That's why I love soccer so much, is because it's so tactical and so free flowing, it's the prettiest sport to watch. I think America is a culture that personifies violence as "manliness" to an extent, that's why our football is so big here, but doesn't appeal to the rest of the world as much, especially in some parts of Europe where it's viewed as a barbaric and foolish sport.

Football is more popular than ever, and less violent than ever.

I don't think bloodlust fully explains its appeal, if at all.

I'm not arguing with that. But, it's still a violent, combative sport by nature, it will always be like that.
