Which Young MLBers Would You Rather Have at Each Position?

For the purposes of the debate, I narrowed the scope to guys that are 24 and younger:
C: Willin Rosario, Salvador Perez
Age really limits guys here, as there are very few young catchers in baseball. Perez has a pheonemal all around skill set but Rosario has clearly outperformed him to date.
Jesus Montero is so bad behind the plate, he's basically DH only. Rob Brantly and Derek Norris aren't doing much to inspire.
1B: Anthony Rizzo, Eric Hosmer or Freddie Freeman
Freeman has the most production of the three by a long shot.
So what you have here is a race for 2nd between Hosmer's overall package and potential against Rizzo's raw power.
Having watched both play a lot, I like Rizzo considerably more.
Matt Adams could get a nod if he got enough PT.
2B: Jose Altuve, Jedd Gyorko, Josh Rutledge, Jurickson Profar
Again, not a ton of choices. Altuve clearly has the best overall numbers and he plays good defense. He really slumped over the back half of 2012, but he's hitting again early.
Profar is easily the most skilled, but we haven't seen him play any significant amount.
SS: Jean Segura, Andrelton Simmons, Elvis Andrus, Starlin Castro, Didi Gregorious
This is probably the most compelling position. 4 young studs. Castro is the best pure hitter of the bunch, but also the worst defender by a mile.
Segura has the smallest sample but he's absolutely raked in 2013 to go with solid D.
Andrus and Simmons are probably two of the best three defensive SS in baseball, but both are off and on hitters.
Gregorious is off to a hot hitting start, but there's nothing in his minor league numbers to lead us to believe it'll stick.
I'd probably choose Andrus, though he's the oldest of the bunch.
3B: Manny Machado, Mike Moustakas, Will Middlebrooks, Nolan Arenado, Brett Lawrie
To me, this one is Machado hands down. He's just a natural.
Moose still has a lot of tools and plays a good 3B.
Middlebrooks is wretched on the hot corner, but probably has the most raw power of the group.
Arenado is slick fielding but hasn't done much at the dish so far.
Brett Lawrie's production still isn't matching his tools.
LF: Mike Trout, Starling Marte, Bryce Harper
Okay, okay, Marte doesn't belong... yet. But his total package may put him in the combination. He plays an excellent LF, hits for some pop and will swipe bags. He's got tools to be better than Carl Crawford.
Trout has one of the most tantalizing skill sets in all of baseball, though his early 2013 hasn't lived up to his lofty 2012, particularly on D.
Harper is maybe the most talented player in all of baseball. He will hit for power, draw walks, solid average, play a good LF and hustle his brains out.
CF: There's really not any stand out, young CF guys in baseball right now. Aaron Hicks gets rave reviews on D, but can't hit a lick right now.
RF: Jason Heyward or Giancarlo Stanton
Stanton has light tower power and plays a pretty solid RF.
Heyward has more of total package approach.
Both have dealt with various injuries.
SP: Matt Harvey, Chris Sale, Stephen Strasburg, Madison Bumgarner, Matt Moore
There's a couple other guys you could throw in here, but I tried to pick guys with at least a season (or close to in the case of Harvey) worth of work.
Bumgarner is, perhaps surprisingly the youngest and most experienced of the lot.
Stras probably has the most overall upside.
Harvey has been outright dominant since getting the call.
Moore had a so-so 2012, but is putting it together in 2013.
Sale made a run at the Cy last year, and is picking up right where he left off.
I think Bumgarner has the clear best career thus far, but I think I like Sale the most overall, mostly due to a slightly better K rate.
C: Willin Rosario, Salvador Perez

Yeah, besides Mike Trout, who you made a LF for some reason

C: Salvador Perez
I actually think Perez has outperformed Rosario. In 600 PA's, Perez has an OPS+ of 115, Rosario has a 106 in about the same number of PA's. Perez is even younger. I think this is an easy one.
1B: Eric Hosmer
The guy has two full seasons as a starter at Age 22. Do you know how good you have to be to do that? Rizzo didn't have as many PA's in two seasons combined as Hosmer had in one. Yeah, he struggled a bit last year, but I think that will ultimately be good for him. I'm still high on Hosmer. He was too good of a prospect to suddenly lose all of his power.
2B: Jurickson Profar
I just roll the dice on his upside. I ted to be a production guy, but no one else blows my doors off, and he's only being held back by a manager who hates young talent and his natural position being blocked.
SS: Elvis Andrus
It's not close. He plays terrific defense, he's a decent hitter who has shown occasional pop, and he can run the bases like mad. I actually think he will soon be hitting 10 HR a year.
3B: Manny Machado
A recent article polled scouts, and some scouts are putting him on the same level as Trout and Harper. He's that good. He might be the best young player in baseball, once you factor in position.
LF: Bryce Harper
He's gonna win the MVP before he can legally drink.
RF: Giancarlo Stanton
Not even close.
SP: Chris Sale
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect. I take the guy who has already locked down the role as a staff ace. He's arrived, and I don't gamble at all with pitchers. He has the K rate and performance, and that's what you take. Don't gamble on young pitchers.

Because he plays LF.

I may have undervalued Perez's offense and overvalued Coors effects on Rosario.

And I'm in love with Machado.
He has the IT factor. Whatever that is. He has it.

I think people jumped ship a little too early on the Royals' prospects. Progress is rarely linear. They aren't that far removed from having the best rated farm system in baseball history. Yes, their players have struggled on arrival. It happens. Sure, some of those guys are going to flame out, but I still like a lot of that talent. It just needs time to come together.

He plays more games in Center than Left

Those guys are all too young to be given up on.

He was their CF last year, but this year he's the LF.
He's only really playing CF because Bourjos got hurt.

that was my other choice, but Sale has a career ERA+ of 153 and averages over a K per inning. Bumgarner has a 112 (though in about 150 more innings). He also has a stellar K rate, just not as stellar. I like him a lot, too.
Also, Chris Sale is on my fantasy team. I have him for the league minimum on an entry level contract, so I'm kind of partial to the guy. He's a dominant keeper for me.

For my pitcher give me Moore. Huge fan of his.

Would be my second choice. I think Sale has more dominant stuff, and not sure how much AT&T helps Bum's numbers. Need to look it up, but probably not too dramatic. He's really solid and I love his size/frame and long-term potential. Sale is a K machine though.

C - Perez
1B - Rizzo
2B - Profar
SS - Castro
3B - Machado
LF - Either of Harper/Trout
RF - Stanton
SP - Strasburg
SS and SP were the hardest. Castro wouldn't be the one I want on my team this year, but his offensive upside still far surpasses the rest. I love Bumgarner, but I'm just not sure how much more potential he has left. He's been fantastic, but I'm not sure he hasn't hit his ceiling. Sale is destined for arm issues.
1B is a complete tossup. Rizzo is much better defensively than the other 2, and his offensive upside is as high as the other 2.
