what he said was that LSU would only take 3 lbs. we have two commits plus lead for 5* garrett. thus, young had better sign on fast or he will be left out (paging quinn). also, young likes ucla a lot so chances of him signing on quickly are low.

Remember the days (month or two ago) when literally our board had noil, dupre, quinn as no doubt 100% wr locks and around the same time was when everyone thought when/if we offered kenny young he might commit on spot. Crazy how things change...not that we arent gonna get them but ya catch my drift. Recruiting is so fluid

sunnydaze, the staff has to pass on someone. there are too many guys to take. unless you are suggesting that we will cut 2 or 3 current commits. i don't see young or quinn being able to commit in oct. we will have too many other guys aboard by then.

I hope that doesn't happen, though...he's a stud and will end up with offers from everyone. We got him first...hopefully we can keep him. He does seem to like the idea of being a Tiger and stuff.

I'm ok with this because Garrett is that good and can play either Weakside or Mike in Chavis D. Only taking 3 also makes me confident Melvin Jones and Kendell Beckwith are sticking at LB. Would love a starting 3 of...
