How convenient.

(Even though we're not supposed to talk about that bush league match at Wembley on Saturday.)

Damn. I would have liked him to be on the field just because he's so fun to watch.

Buuuuut then I realize that this will be good for Bayern.

Last Pokal cup final without him Dortmund only beat Bayern 5-2

i know, i hate when a bunch of teams play a tournament and then the last two teams ALWAYS play in the final, it's like why can't they just choose who plays there? SOO lame

No respect for the guy and frankly, don't believe the injury bullshite either. If I were his teammates we'd be beefing some kinda hard right now.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they don't deserve to be there (though the last goal against Malaga was offsides two different times). That doesn't mean it's an appealing matchup and this one weakened by all the player switching drama surrounding it.

the player transfer angle only makes it more enticing. looking forward to this match.

One teams top player, or close to it, not playing because he is going to the other team makes you want to watch it more? Weird.

You are so mad, he was offered more yearly money with a few other teams, but wanted to play for Bayern, he's Bavarian by birth, this can't be THAT shocking. I'm sure he's absolutely devastated that you don't respect him. You are a PT or in PT school right? You should know how fragile hamstrings are. Badstuber reinjured his ACL after pushing to get back for these last two games, he's now out 10 additional months. I think that's a conspiracy, especially if you consider we are playing his old club in the Pokal final. That's fricking fishy, he probably is angling for a move back since Pep is coming in

unlike this year's barca without messi, bvb are still fun without götze. the stolen player angle adds another layer of motivation which I find interesting.

Come on man, lets not pull the UMAD card. Not mad, I would just be very frustrated if I were his teammate. I know how hamstring injuries work but the cynical side of me (its a pretty big side) hates everything about this and questions the injury. Without the clause in his contract I believe BVB could've paid him close to if not just as much as Bayern. He's gonna feel a little silly if BVB wins IMO. Leaving the worlds best team lulz.

Possibly, but I think he's going to be the highest paid player in the league next season. Also, BVB agreed to the clause, his agent wanted the same thing at Bayern and they told him to frick off Bayern doesn't sell star players, he still agreed to the personals.

Definitely. Kagawa has gotta feel silly too, his direct quote on why he left was he wanted to compete for the champions league. That backfired a little bit, especially since there are some rumors that BVB want to get him back and he's willing to go. Rumors, like I said, but sometimes those come to fruition.

Yeh I read an interview with Klopp the other day where he was upset about Kagawa's PT and position. He rates him as the best CAM in the world and is upset about him playing on the left. I completely understand and hope he becomes more of a mainstay on the squad this next season. He's so damn fun to watch, on another wavelength then some others you can tell.

I don't really watch much United, so I can't give my own opinion on the matter, but I did think it was odd that he wasn't playing much. I mean I know the Bundesliga is worse than the MLS, but he was pretty incredible on a regular basis with them. They got him from Japan for pennies on the dollar too. Great bit of business, especially when you have someone of comparable talents to take his place.
