be careful around logs, snakes love them

Let someone know where you are.

Unload your weapon, even if it is a dog knocks it over, an unloaded weapon cant fire.

Trailers should have safety chains on them, make sure bearings are good and lights functional.

No riding on bow of bass boat while under power.

Kill switches are good

Clean any cuts caused by game or fish immediately and well.

Poison ivy loses its leaves, watch out for it on trees and on clothes afterwards if you are allergic.

A old pair of broke in boots is always preferable to a new pair when going to be walking any long distances.

Never sink a 12 gauge shell in the ground, angled back at you, and then shoot the primer with a .22.

This especially in the marsh. Vibrio can be a mean bitch.

And in the absence of any true antiseptic, a beer pulled on the wound will suffice till you can get back in.....seriously.
