The movie was pretty much strictly about football. The TV series was small town/high school drama with a football game on Friday.

I understand why y'all are complaining but if you don't want to give any money then how is it affecting YOUR life?????????

There are so much more things we should worry about then complaining and worrying if dumbass Hollywood wants us to pay for a movie. They aren't forcing us to take money out of our pockets. If I don't want to pay then I won't. We should be focusing more energy on what happened in OK city then a dumb kickstarter movie that isn't really a big deal if you don't let it.

if they do a movie what will they do? almost every character was shown in the finale after school was over. the coach is in a different state.

What happens now? either start over with Kyle Chandler and a whole new cast with possible cameos from key TV series actors or force some story I really don't want to see with Riggins, Tyra, Matt, etc...

I hate this dumbass argument. I hear it from retarded liberals all the time. we can't argue or worry about anything because something worse is going on in the world.

why aren't you out there helping with the relief effort instead of posting on a message board about kickstarter?

there are children starving in Africa why are you concerned with lsu football? your priorities are fricked up

The movie had dramatic aspects, such as Don's relationship with his father, Mike's uncertain future, and Boobie coping with his injury. They just had 2 hours instead of 5 seasons to work with, so it wasn't AS much drama. It's still the same idea though.

Fearthehat0307 & CP3LSU25

Bringing politics into this is fricking dumb and makes you sound fricking dumb.

CP3LSU25

The more they get away with this shite the more they are going to do it. It won't be long until they start demanding EVERY movie requires an up front fan investment. If you can't understand why this would bother people please refer to how you sound when you bring in politics to shite that doesn't involve politics.

I told y'all this was coming. Studios, financiers, producers, etc in the movie business are going to find a way to make you pay twice in subsidizing their movie by holding fans hostage and not sharing the profits even though technically you've invested in the movie just like they have.

Nailed it. Why go out and get funding when you can just hop on kickstarter.
