I had Uverse for 3 years and just dumped it for DTV. I was having to constantly reboot the boxes

were your boxes 3 years old and did they refuse to replace them? I've had similar issues with directv. once you fill up the storage, the DVRs can get sluggish.

It takes the boxes like 15 minutes to come back online when you reboot them too.

I have to reboot my DTV HD-DVRs about every other week. They take about 12 minutes to come back online.

Yes, but DVR was not even half full. I just found all the services to not work half the time or be extremely slow. The other thing that drove me bananas was when I would go to change the channel to say 1602. I would press 1-6-0-2 but it would only register 1-6-0 so I would press 2 again and it would change the channel to channel 2.
