re: Solar panels and hookups for camps

Our camp is very well insulated. There is always a good breeze and our windows are situated to make a natural draft. A couple of big fans and you sleep with a light sheet. I ain't spoiled enough to need an air conditioner.

So can I use a regular car battery with an inverter or do I need a special battery. I can charge the battery with the generator for a while and use the battery afterwards, right?
