Yes you are correct about the timing of the
fielding gloves. Wasn't arguing the point.
Just letting everyone know that they are making them now.

A few players said the same thing in interviews last year. I really don't think it's all a conspiracy to select an inferior bat for an extra $100K.

I thought that LSU was gonna go with them but the bats didnt meet specs by fractions of CoR so they had to go with someone else

From what I hear M pays "nothing" to anybody or any team. Including all the MLB players........pretty good business plan if you can make it go. And they have in a big way.

part of mainieri's salary comes from equipment suppliers. marucci wasn't in a position to offer any money. easton offered the same amount as demarini i believe, but easton wanted lsu to use their fielding gloves also. the players preferred wilson gloves so they went with demarini bats to be able to keep using wilson gloves.

Marucci's aluminum bat's aren't as good as others on the market either.

They will get better though
