Made a trip out to San Saba, Tx this weekend to help a friend rid his property of some hogs. We did pretty well killed around 30. Most all were shot at night due to them not moving during the day in the 99* temps.

I saved the back straps and hindquarters out of a few and the buzzards got the rest.

Also killed this little sucker. First time I've ever seen one.

From Polaris Rangers. 2 guys had night vision scopes mounted on AR's and the driver had night vision goggles mounted on his head. No shite, we saw hundreds more. They are out of control out there!

We'd just ride around about an hour before dark and corn the roads. Wait till dark and just ride around and pick them off. I smoked a couple with 00 buckshot from a 10 gauge while riding. That was pretty fun!

Awesome. They really do have a problem out there, my buddy has a lease in San Saba and we kill a ton more hogs there versus our place a couple hours south.

Did you get to see Tommy Lee Jones or Robert Duval at the BBQ place?

We were on a lease out there 20 years ago and running into them was and still is one of our lease members claim to fame. Apparently them and maybe Clint Eastwood I think own a big ranch right there.

No, but we were right next to his ranch and pecan orchard.
