I like it but don't love it. I have the book and have never read it. My biggest complaint is Jon Hamm actually. His character doesnt seem to have the stakes that Titus Welliver's character had since he grew up in the town.

They are being monitored by the FBI while planning to hit the Boston Red Sox stadium. How much more heat is there? I think the ending is strong.

The problem with the ending is the entire FBI and Boston PD are waiting outside Fenway for them yet somehow they walked out because they had a hat and glasses on. Was Hamm the only agent or officer who got a mugshot beforehand?

I think they weren't expecting a cop at all. They walked out with tons of other cops. I'm sure none of the other cops even looked at their faces.

Best line is no doubt:

"Who's cah we takin?" in response to Affleck's spiel about not asking questions and hurting somebody.

Yeah but even when disguised they're slightly some other law enforcement officer besides Hamm should have working eyes.

There are not many negative reviews at all. 94% on RT.

I was just surprised by the few that I found. Granted that sounds a little bitchy.
