I know "The Town" has been around for a while, but I recently saw it again. I personally do not understand the negative reviews this movie has gotten. I think it is well done. It has a great cast with a solid script and great acting. Some critics claim they did not feel the heat. They are being monitored by the FBI while planning to hit the Boston Red Sox stadium. How much more heat is there? I think the ending is strong. Our culture wants everything so tiddy. The fact that Doug and Claire are not together in the end is tragic but understandable, even justifiable.

Have you read the book it is based on? How does it compare to the movie?

Everyone I know loves the movie. Not sure where the negative reviews are coming from.

Affleck is doing some good work.

I like it. It was a good, entertaining movie. People on here went crazy for it when it was first released, which led to it being a little overrated if anything on this specific site

I was confused about that, as well.

It has a 94% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, pretty much on par with Argo as far as reviews go.

Can't watch this shite on cable!

Too edited and the commercial breaks kill movie suspense.

The alternate ending is NUTS and changes things. I like the original ending better.

Affleck has turned into one of the best directors in Hollywood. Gone, Baby Gone, The Town, and Argo are all EXCELLENT movies.
