What's the point of all these QBs if we are gonna have Jennings for as long as they will be here? I mean, will we sign one or two?
Let's say for 2014, we have a 3 way battle with Rivers/Jennings/Rettig, with Jennings winning out. I could see Rivers wanting to transfer, and then Rettig being your backup.
And then, Rettig gets tired of riding the pine and wanting to transfer out.
so you have 2 transfers from a supposed logjam...and your 2 2014 QB signees have redshirted, spacing out the gap from Jennings and setting up the future QB battle.

and I can easily see that. Look at what happened and is still happening this offseason, it is a FA market frenzy out there with the QBs leading the way. The week before last I think I saw tweets about 6-7 QBs looking to transfer.
