The way this is filmed is extremely odd. You go from one second two people interacting, to the congressman still standing in the same room giving some sort of inner monologue. I'm not sure which is a more annoying device that or the camera shake from the Bourne Ultimatum.

It worked for Will Smith in Fresh Prince.
But I do like the show's usage of soliloquy even if it is used a bit too often.
