BJ Armstrong was picked by the Raptors but refused to report so he was shipped to the Warriors. Gerald Wallace was left available and was selected by the Bobcats. Did BJ have a horrible contract the Bulls were trying to get out of? Usually teams leave players with albatross contracts they hope someone will take off their hands. What other prominent players were out there?

What are you confused about?

Both the Canadian teams were hampered by the NBA's decision to deny them one of the top five picks in the draft. The teams would not be allowed a top draft pick in the following three seasons, even if they should win the lottery.

What a dick move, Stern. No wonder they sucked for so long.

I don't know. I thought BJ Armstrong was drafted by Chicago. I'm on my phone right now, so I don't feel like looking it up.

Do you not understand the concept of Expansion drafts?

When there is an expansion draft, each team can protect 8 players. All others are fair game to b drafted to form the new team. BJ was coming off an All-Star season and didn't like the fact he was picked by a new team. The Raptors decided to replace him at PG with the ROY.

The Hornets selected their starting backcourt for years to come in their draft (Curry, Bogues). They had one of the better drafts. Look at who the Bobcats picked.

WTF!
