I'm no fan of Jim Nantz, but I can understand this, they worked together on golf telecasts for years.

Your opinion. He seems quite arrogant to me, and I don't like the way he calls college basketball. I didn't say he was bad or that I didn't like him, but that I'm not a fan. There is a difference.

Met him years ago at an ncaa tourney thing. He couldnt have been nicer and more polite and down to earth. Take it fwiw

Met him at super bowl media day this year. One of the nicest guys I ever met. He held off a couple people that wanted to get an interview with him just so he could finish his conversation with me and my buddy. Of all the people in the world who has the right to be arrogant for being in the spotlight, he was really down to earth and a genuine nice person.
