Concession stands at The Box are unreal

Especially the one behind the third base bleachers. The line stays backed up to the fence. Don't give me the "it was packed tonight" line either because it is like this all the time.
They even put in registers this year an they haven't helped any it doesn't look like.
I know this is a "bitching" thread but I'm not doing it to be an arse. Just pointing out how bad it's gotten.

And it's expensive and shitty. I don't mind paying "ballpark prices," but at least make it worth my money. I got a warm powerade and brown fries today. I never have this problem at the PMAC or Tiger Stadium

Yes, tried a few in the concourse and one wasn't as bad. I get that nights like tonight, the wait will be longer but the one at third base needs to figure it out.

They're not efficient because the concessions stands are used as a fundraiser for different student and community groups. The workers aren't really trained at all, they're just learning as they go unless they've done a stand before. I was in a few different student groups at LSU while I was in college and we would do it to raise money. If it seems like the people behind the counter don't know what they're doing, it's probably because they don't. For most of them it's the one and only time they'll ever work a concession stand and they just showed up a few hours before the gate opened. Obviously there's other contributing factors to the line than sloppy workers, but it is a big part in the inefficiency sometimes.

yeah i know that feel bro. those chicken tender baskets are teh worse. like they completley ruin your whole experiance at alex box@skip bertman field

This guy gets it. There usually isn't much of a wait difference, I find. The worst will take maybe a minute longer than the best.
I do wish they'd have a better system than yelling across the workspace, though.
