I put my generator in my shed in the back yard and hardwired it to the well. Then ran extension cords to the house. Not at the same time, but was able to run fridge, window unit, and charge phones.

Was able to shut the doors on my shed to make the generator quiet.

Has anyone mentioned kites yet?

I always pick up about 20-30 of the cheap ones. As the wind picks up all the neighborhood kids come to our house and they fly them until the wind tears them up. they tie them to mailboxes and the last one flying gets $10.

The next day it looks like spider man got drunk and shot spider web all over the place. Kids love it and all the parents congregate to assemble the kites, repair the kites, watch, visit and drink.,,,,.,
