A healthy D Rose at 3rd best would be my other choice

Did you watch the Spurs/Warriors game tonight? I'm gonna assume you didn't.
Tony Parker played like shite all game. He went 3/16. But in the waning minutes of the game, he hit two CLUTCH threes that basically sealed the game and the series. Even though he played like shite, he put the team on his back when it mattered and carried them. It's that quality that we have yet to see from Chris Paul, and it's why I would rather have Tony Parker on my team, as of now.
Does Skip Bayless post on the MSB?

I think its easily Chris Paul. His stats, PER, etc are just awesome. He is far and away the best PG in the game IMO.

I'd say Rondo overall is the best PG, when healthy.
Say what you want about his obsession with assists, but he is brilliant on the big stage in the regular season and playoffs.

His team was better without him this year. He isn't close to Paul IMO. I don't put Rondo in the top 3 for PGs.

I'm assuming you watched NONE of the Boston-NY Knicks series.

KD isn't the second best player in the NBA
Ok genius, who is?
Or is Bama gonna claim that?

Actually no I didn't really.
I did watch the Celtics post-Rondo during the year.
Chris Paul is much better, more valuable to his team, and most people who pay attention agree with that.

CP3 is better than rondo, but if rondo (big if) ever develops a jump shot, he would be right there with CP3. The problem is team tend to guard him at the ft line, daring him to shoot, and it clogs up the lane.

FWIW Bill Simmons had Steph Curry at #3
In Trade Value. Curry's contract is ridiculously good at 11mil/yr.

Paul shot 53% in the playoffs in the clutch last season.
You mean the playoffs where his team got swept by a Parker led Spurs? He wasn't able to have one clutch moment in that series. At the end of the day, it's all about winning, and Paul hasn't been able to win when it matters. Period.
Parker's game last night was the exact scenario you talked about. He played like shite all game, but came up big when it mattered the most and he played a large part in his team winning the game. It's not all about scoring 35 a night as a point guard.

So you think that made shots = clutch? What if he happened to miss the shots?
A three pointer made in the final 2 minutes of a close elimination playoff game is clutch. Don't pretend like it means as much as a three pointer made in November. But by all means, if you'd rather have a regular season warrior who can't pull his team ahead in the playoffs, go ahead.

So a player is better and clutch by shooting in the 30s in the clutch compared to the guy shooting on the 50s?
Like I said, you base how good players are on how good their teammates are, which is faulty logic

Parker and MAYBE Westbrook are the only PG's I'd take over Paul. I'm not saying he sucks, I'm just saying I'd take a proven winner over him for now.
Parker isn't nearly as good as Paul

See that's BS if I've ever seen it. There is no evidence to say Paul is clearly better. I think they are even with the slight edge to Parker. Also last time these 2 matched up Parker went for 20 and 10 and Paul went for 4 and like 6. Just saying. I like CP3 but this board overvalues him big time.
