@MattMitovich: CBS scheduling boss notes the viewer difference between BIG BANG and PARKS + REC would itself be a Top 10 show.

I wonder if he realizes that Parks and Recs could show Ron Swanson taking a shite all episode and would still be funnier than BBT. It doesn't need a laugh track. **** the ratings Parks got renewed.

Two and a half men and mike and Molly get huge ratings. Any slapdick will just put it on CBS and watch that crap now a days.

Well the masses clearly disagree.

And someone like him is only concerned with what the masses think. So as long as his math is correct, I don't see the big deal.

I for one don't believe the whole ratings system. It just seems fishy. No one really knows what people are watching. I've never met anyone who had those rating things in their home.

You need to give it a shot.

Yeah there is something def wrong with America if that is the case. It's pathetic that many people watch that and ignore Parks.

What's more likely a 9 billion dollar TV industry runs on a system that is "fishy" or you just don't understand it.

Never have I once met anyone who has a rating thing in their home. So yeah I don't believe that BBT gets 17 million viewers and Parks only gets 3.

People have different taste in comedy CP3. A persons sense of humor tends to develop and change over time. Your exposure to it is one factor in how fast that happens. To be honest, sometimes I wish I could go back to a time when a wider range of material could make me laugh.

Just because I'm a big fan of Louis doesn't mean my good friend who loves Two and Half Men and BBT is stupid.

I know this isn't a fun answer but the truth often isn't.

I think the Nielsen system is completely outdated and with the technology currently available, there's really no excuse for its continued use
