Some people might take this the wrong way, but Urban Youth aren't typically fans of LSU as much as you think.

They are USC, Alabama, tOSU fans.

I think they're just Velcro fans. "Oh this team just won? Let me rip off this logo and stick their's on the front of my hat."

Not trying to start anything but how do you back up that statement? Do you have any proof of that?

That's extremely untrue. LSU is viewed as a very popular team, more swag than just about any other team. Why else would these out of state kids want to come play for a state school in another state.

If LSU has an issue, it's still with the New Orleans area kids. Kids that either aren't big sports fans, or grow up more as Saints fans than LSU fans. New Orleans and Baton Rouge are still very different places. (ignoring the perceived racism of LSU from back in the day). But even that has eroded GREATLY.

Guys like Glen Dorsey, Patrick Peterson and the Honey Badger have hit home with "Urban Youth" as much as any other players from any other teams.

You listed three of the most popular teams in college football, teams that are loved by any player. And even then, when was the last time LSU lost someone to OSU. Only one player I can think of to USC, and he drove his way there in five different cars. Let's be real here.
